On the occasion of Milan’s Salone del Mobile, Massimo Alba presents an immersive artistic project that explores the dialogue between art, material and garment, in collaboration with Unique, an initiative conceived by Bruno Gnocchi aimed at identifying, supporting and presenting emerging talents, creating connections between different creative fields and fostering new forms of cultural exchange.
Trained in Fine Arts at the Camberwell College of Arts in London, Pau Aguiló has developed a distinctive pictorial language in which imagination, memory, and
a sense of place intertwine.
Aguiló’s process begins with observation: images, texts, dreams and fleeting impressions gathered and distilled through drawing, gently distorting reality through irony, humour and a sense of the uncanny. What emerges is a personal vocabulary: an attempt to absorb the world and piece it back together. Each work invites us to pause, look more closely, reflect and reconnect with something more instinctive, less visible.
